Day 37 - Thur July 26

In Utah, some of us are - sleeping late, playing wii, a bit of shopping, a bit of sweating, Nana and Bumpa took me out to lunch, Griffin and Quinn played Lego Star Wars!

Day 35 already! Tue, July 24

It is all going by TOO fast!

Today was another Raging Waters day. Very fun.

We took Lydia and Natalie with us. We added a new ride to mine and Griffin's route.

Did more laundry - it is never done.

Zak did more football - it is almost done.

Mentally packing for the drive to Utah tomorrow.

Day 34 - Mon, July 23

Griffin - went to a party
Kylie - rode her scooter over to Lydia's and is spending the night
Quinn - was the first and only one to finish his "list". I went and rented a video game for him.


Zak - football
Chase - played racquetball with Jake Melton and friends. Earlier he worked with Dad
Steven - worked with Dad. Had a very sweaty and fun tennis lesson
Christopher - read Harry Potter

Mom - had a great and sweaty tennis lesson, and apparently I painted my toe nails.

Griffin jumped off the diving board today.

Very courageous.


We sang great Pioneer songs at church today.

Had a linger longer. There was a great variety of food.

I played in my first soccer game today, it was fun.


Golf: Quinn, Zak, Kylie all had their golf lesson

BYU exam: Chase arranged to take his first BYU test

Swim: Kylie, Griffin, Tanner all went swimming

Movie: Premonition - was barely ok

Day 31 - Fri, July 20

Steven and I went to our Tennis class - yes, he got the most points again, and we played singles and he beat me handily.


Steven also went camping with Josh Shapiro. He will be back on day 32, Saturday.



Kylie got a phone call from Lydia inviting her to Raging Waters. She was there from 12:30 - 6:00pm. She said she had a great time, and the lines were VERY long.



Zachary went to football as usual.









I saw Andrea Evans, the TV soap star, while eating at Outback Steakhouse with Kerry. It was quite exciting.



Chase rode his bike down the Foothills Middle School at 2:00, in the heat of the day, to do a bit of cardiovascular exercise. Then he came home to work on his on-line BYU class.

Day 30!! - Thur, July 19

I finished making the slipcover for the RED couch today!! It took 2 days, but about 2 weeks apart. Glad to have it done.
Children all completed their list. Great idea by me.

Day 28 - again

Day 28 - Tues, July 17

The item on the calendar today was to drive down to Norwalk and get
Griffin's birth certificate.
I did it!
And it really was not that bad.

Then I came home and pre-registered the family on the cruise - that took about an hour.

Kylie - watched TV
Quinn - cleaned his assigned room and watched TV
Chase & Steven - worked for Dad
Griffin - swimming lessons
Zak - football
Christopher - drove back to Provo.

Day 27 - Mon July 16

Lots going on....
1st - Raging Waters!
We are getting pretty good at this. This picture is on the way over. I think all the "bigs" rode all the rides, then we were done. Quinn did a ride called Wave rider. It simulates surfing. Quinn did great! I also made Griffin ride the Thunder Rapids. He cried the whole time, but it was still fun for me.Later that night, Christopher, Steven and I went drove down to Laguna to see the
Pageant of the Masters.
Apparently, I bought seats on the last row. It worked out just fine. We all used binoculars.These were our two favorite works of art: Blind Man's Bluff by Fransico de Goya

We were all glad we went. Christopher said he would not like to go again. Steven and I will definitely go again.

I suggested that we make it a family, Sunday tradition to take our picture every Sunday after church. It didn't happen.

Day 26 - Sat, July 14

FLAG FOOTBALL SATURDAY
Zachary organized a Ward Flag Football game between the Elder's Quorum and the YM.
It was a nice turn out and in the end, the YM won by 1/2 a point.
They all had fun. The group - the huddle is the Elder's Quorum. That is Dad in the red shirt.

Day 25 - Fri July 13

Another BEACH Day
Christopher, Steven, Chase, Zak, Quinn, Kylie, Griffin and I all went The water was VERY cold
